I am not sure anymore when I have actually met Thierry. But it must be at least 7 years ago. There was this friendly Frenchman who liked clocks and always asked me my opinion on his recent acquisitions. After a few visits he actually invited me to have lunch whenever I would be in Paris. I am sorry to say that there was never the opportunity to actually have that lunch. In the years that followed our conversations not only were about clocks but deepened to all aspects of life, art, history and much more. I found out that Thierry is a man with many interests, passions and a lot of energy. I guess that last quality is his strength but also his weakness, when energy turns into restlessness. I cherish our conversations and look forward to have many more.
